Welcome to my website! I teach U.S. History, Government, Economics, and Psychology. I have a major in Psychology from Arizona State University (Go Devils) and a Master's Degree in Theology from Santa Clara University. In my spare time I like to read, write, hike, swim, bike, and watch basketball. Phoenix, AZ is my hometown ... born and raised. Go Suns.
Usually I end up learning more from my students than they do from me, because students bring their own interests and perspectives to the subject matter. My role is not to "impart knowledge" but to facilitate a learning experience. Social studies is an awesome field because it can be applied to any other subject or field. History of science? The economics of art? Everything intersects with the social sciences.
Calendar will be updated on a weekly basis. All classes meet on Mondays for 45 minutes. "Block 1" is the second class of the week. "Block 2" is the third class of the week.
All coursework documents will be posted on Google Classroom.
Best contact is by email: [email protected]
